NETPAC Jury Members

NETPAC Jury Members in Seventh Khorshid Film Festival are:

Marc Haaz was born on May 8, 1988 in Besançon France. He studied film and made his first short film in 2011 and in 2012 for which he obtained two selections at the Cannes Film Festival. He creates in 2018 the company of production & distribution OSPROD Studios. He has been since 2014 the technical director of VIFFAC (Vesoul International Film Festival for Asian Cinema) and responsible for opening and closing ceremonies.

Anuj Malhotra is a critic, curator, and a cultural activist based out of New Delhi, India.
In 2012, he founded Lightcube, an acclaimed film collective, regularly touted as one of the leading resources for pioneering research and presentation of image-forms in the country. In 2015, he was selected for the prestigious Young Critics’ Workshop at Film Festival, Gent, where he was mentored by the editorial group at the cinephile publication, photogenie, and Nick Pinkerton. In the same year, he handled the editorial and design duties for the official newsletter of the Pravo Ljudski Film Festival in Sarajevo, a conclave invested in the pursuit of human rights through the medium of film. He contributed in a similar capacity to the 2016 edition of the Mumbai Film Festival. In 2017, Anuj was invited as a filmologist to the Film Mutations, Zagreb, to present a retrospective of filmmaker Abel Ferrara, alongwith organizing texts on such diverse auteurs of radical cinema such as Marc Hurtado and Katsu Kanai. He was also selected as one of the participants at the prestigious Collegium at the Giornate del Muto, in Pordenone, Italy. Anuj is also an active member of the Network for the Promotion of Asian Cinema (NETPAC), and has represented the collective at such important festivals as the Khorshid International Film Festival (Iran), Bengaluru International Film Festival (India) and The Inner Path (India). Anuj also served as the editor of the Official Catalogue for the 2016 edition of MAMI (Mumbai Academy of Moving Image), alongwith handling design duties for the Official Catalogue of the National Film Awards for the years, 2010 to 2012.  He has been involved in the design of various important publications on film, including Silent Cinema in India: A Pictorial Journey, the winner of the National Film Award for the Best Book on Cinema for 2012.

 

Mehdi Yarmohammadi, Born in Shahrood, M.A in Dramatic Literature university of Soore. He is Independent filmmaker, Consistent member of “documentary filmmakers’ association of cinema house”, member of Iranian cinema’s guilds’ in cinema house, Member of expansion of Asia and Oceania’s cinema organization (NETPAC), Director and founder of Khorshid independent film festival, Manger and founder of “short film support” company, Counsellor of “international distribution of independent films, founder of “artists’ dedicated relics treasury museum”, Member of “international council of structures and historical enclosures” (ICOMOS), Cinema instructor (short time courses, specialized workshops)

He is Director and member of selection board in Khorshid international independent film festival,

Member of 2nd “Sahar” international film festival, Executive manager and jury member of Iranian cinema part of 12th “Action on Film” international film festival, Jury member of 13th “Action on Film” international film festival, Member of planning council, director of selection boards and jury in 1st “Butterflies of Sacrifice” film festival with the subject “women and war”, Director and member of selection board in 1st “Roodaki foundation film week” with the title “Resistance in freedom frame”.
