Khorshid Independent Film Festival’s Special Attention to the Women’s Positions, Family and Entrepreneurship

۶th edition of Khorshid independent film festival will present a special creativity with the message of women rights and their positions in families and society.

Regarding to the negotiation between the festival director Mehdi Yarmohamadi and the vice president in women affairs and family, there will be a special attention to the women position in families and society and entrepreneur women, and the best films and filmmakers will be nominated and appreciated.

The purpose of this festival is encouraging filmmakers for makings creative, valuable and effective films.

The 6th edition of Khorshid independent film festival directed by Mehdi Yarmohamadi, will be held in Avini Hall in Bandar Abbas Hormozgan on 11 to 14 September, 2017 with the message of “Respect to Human and Nature” in different sections including the competitive section of “Independent and Experimental Films”, the competitive section of “The most Beautiful Dreams“, the competitive section of “Articles about Experimental Cinema”, in international section involving: “Review of the Best Experimental Short Films in Cannes Festival 2016”, and “Review of the World’s Best Experimental Short Films in World Cinema History”.

Because of the Iran’s presidential elections, 6th edition of Khorshid independent film festival that supposed to be held last May, postponed to forthcoming September.

Khorshid independent film festival will be held a special event for independent cinema with experimental and creativity and creating structure and emphasize the need to expand the production of valuable works and presenting this cinema as the one based on though and creativity.

During the five previous editions, the festival has been able to play an effective role and position in identifying and introducing the talented filmmakers In this field and their films in the international community.
