Network for the Promotion of Asia Pacific Cinema, NETPAC, will award the best film selected by NETPAC juries at its Seventh Khorshid Independent Film Festival.

According to the agreement between Khorshid Independent Film Festival and NETPAC, Network for the Promotion of Asia Pacific Cinema, Seventh Khorshid Film Festival subsumed a Special Award under the certain competition to recognition the quality of the best short film, made by Asian- Oceanian Avant-guard filmmakers.

NETPAC Award will present annually at Khorshid Film Festival. The award includes certificate of honor and introduction of the film information (including film distributor and filmmaker information) via the website, platforms and members of NETPAC, worldwide.

Also based on this agreement, Khorshid Independent Film Festival and Mehdi Yarmohammadi (Director and Founder of Festival) have become members of NETPAC.

NETPAC is a leading organization to discover and promote the Asia-Oceania Cinema, founded in New Delhi in 2006, and its secretariat is currently placed in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
